Texas Agriculture - Tomorrow’s Future Today

Like most of rural Texas, the communities served by the Wes-Tex RC&D Area depend heavily on the prosperity of agriculture. A partnership was forged between Wes-Tex RC&D Area, Texas Tech University, Region 17 Educational Service Center, Texas Education Agency, Texas Corn Producers Board, and the Natural Resources Conservation Service to address the need for understanding the roll of agriculture in Texas.

This was an effort to coordinate, develop, and produce "Texas Agriculture: Tomorrow’s Future Today," an educational video for school children emphasizing the importance of agriculture and conservation in Texas. The 15-minute video highlights how agriculture affects all of our lives and the importance of conserving our natural resources.
