Priority for Funding
High Priority
Applicants must meet all three criteria to be ranked high priority.
- Acreage currently contains or will be planted to longleaf pines.
- Restoration of longleaf pine savannah is the long term management goal and
prescribed burning is, or will be part of a plan written for this tract.
- Acreage can be safely burned.
All high priority applications will be accepted and ranked for possible
funding. Low priority applications will be accepted but not ranked unless
funds are available after all high priority applications have been funded.

Cost Share Rates
Limited Resource Farmer/Producer - 90 percent
