Marshall Resource Team:  Kids and Conservation

Marshall Team members Matt Feno, SC, Thomas McCoy, SC, and Paul Leggett, DC recently held conservation education field days at two middle schools for almost 500 fifth grade earth science students.

On December 15th, eight classes of 272 students at Sam Houston Middle School received education on soils, resource conservation, and erosion. Students viewed "living soil" through stereoscopes. On January 12th at Price T. Young Middle School, seven classes of 192 students participated in the same program from team members.
