Limited Resource Farmer or Rancher

For FY2006 a separate funding pool is provided statewide for producers who qualify as Limited Resource Farmers or Ranchers (LRFR). The funding, ranking, and eligible practice list for this category is separate from the county base program or other statewide resource concerns and is administered as a state concern.

Although the new fund is created specifically for LRFR producers, qualifying applicants may choose any available eligible practice in the county base programs or applicable statewide resource concerns depending on the individual’s resource concern and practice needs. All cost shared practices approved will be at the 90% cost share rate. Incentive practices will be paid at the 100% rate.
